Expedient Internal Applications

Over 15+ years at Expedient, I’ve designed and built a suite of internal web applications that power day-to-day operations across the company. These tools serve Sales, Operations, Support, Delivery, and Finance teams across multiple data centers nationwide.

Key Applications

Hopper API

Hopper is a RESTful API that serves as the backbone for many internal applications, providing a unified interface to access and manipulate data across various systems. It abstracts away the complexity of underlying databases and services, allowing front-end applications to interact with a consistent API layer. I was heavily involved in building and maintaining this API, which has evolved significantly over the years to support new features and integrations. Build on lots of learnings over the years and powers our new frontends.

QuoteTracker

Real-time quote generation tool for the sales team. Replaced a slow, error-prone manual process with a dynamic interface that pulls live pricing data from inventory and generates accurate quotes in seconds. Closely involved with building the app, doing large version upgrades as well as continuious improvement.

End-to-end purchase order management: request creation, approval workflows, invoicing, and receiving. Integrated with Oracle DB for financial reporting.

Sales Commissions Tracker (EXPY Award 2012)

Automated commission calculation system that transformed a complex monthly spreadsheet into backend business logic. Derives commissions automatically from sales and delivery data, eliminating manual calculation errors and saving significant accounting time each month.

Customer Workbooks (EXPY Award 2015)

Dynamic customer onboarding interface for collecting detailed service configuration data during new customer delivery. Replaced fragmented email chains with a structured, trackable intake workflow.

Delivery Tracker

Project tracking tool for managing the delivery lifecycle of new services to customers — from signed contract through final implementation.

Support Management Console

Internal tooling for the support team: incident reporting, shift reports, escalation tracking, and NOC operations.
